Nothing can beat The Ritz-Carlton experience. It has won my heart and remains first on my list. The luxe features, magnificent panoramic bay view and personalized service is simply impressive. The Ritz-Carlton culture encourages every employee to exceed customer's expectation, providing means to support employees in creating "The Ritz-Carlton Mystique". Each employee always have a Credo card with them that constantly reminds the values and philosophy by which The Ritz-Carlton operates. In one section of the Credo Card, this phrase is emphasized in bold -"We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen." As you reach the grand entrance, you will be greeted warmly by everyone while a lady or gentleman will personally bring you to the check-in counters. The hallways displays many art collections, including painting by Andy Warhol. Pay attention to the curvy glass sculpture at both ends of the lobby, created by a famous glassblower and glass artist, Dale Chihuly. The east end glass installation represents the sunrise in yellow-orange while the west end represents the sunset in yellow-green. After checking-in, you will be surprised that you will be personally guided all the way up to your room. Room Type: Deluxe Room(City & Bay View) Comfort: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Furnishing and facilities: 4.5/5 Average Price: S$ 430++ (City View) S$ 510++ (Bay View) The deluxe room is 51 m² room facing either the Marina Bay or the Kallang (City view). If you booked the City view, the Singapore Flyer and Benjamin Sheares are just right in front of you. From far, you can also see the latest National Stadium, the largest dome structure in the world. Highlights: 1. Panoramic View I was so hyped up when I first stepped into the room as I was welcomed by the magnificent panoramic view in front of me. You will feel so blissful when you wake up, seeing the beautiful skylines and the shimmering waters from the Marina Bay. 2. Spacious Room This 51 m² room is very spacious, almost one and a half size bigger than a typical hotel room. There is even a walk-in closet just beside the entrance. Their bathroom is also larger than anyone else. 3. Automation Control I love it when I do not have to get up from the bed just to close the curtains. The night table has all the switches you need, including the night/day blind which automatically roll down to your adjustment. An air-conditioned room can get dry sometimes. You can adjust the humidity according to your own comfort. 4. King Size Bed Facing the panoramic view, you will find yourself sinking into their plush bed that cradles and support your body at total comfort. Selection of pillows include - extra feather, foam and extra foam pillows. 5. Evening Turn-down Service Before the sunset, the room will be serviced and replenished again. You will enter a room in the right mood lighting that is visually soothing, with your bed being made to prepare you for the night. A small Godiva Chocolate will be placed at the night tables to pamper yourself before your sleep. 6. Oversized bathtub with panoramic view While relaxing your mind and soul in the warm water, you can also enjoy the scenery through the large window by your side, watching the city lighting up to prepare for the night. Their large marble bathroom has a separate shower stall with rainshower features, accompanied with Asprey bath amenities from UK. There is nothing I can complain about in this room. I totally love the interior features and design. The combination of marbles, wood prints and tones, and soft leather exemplified simple luxury. We were astonished with the birthday surprise by The Ritz-Carlton. With complementary of the personal service that anticipate your needs, the stay with The Ritz-Carlton is truly a heartwarming yet refined one. There is no reason not giving a full stars for the comfort and service. One slight drawback is that the water and spa facilities did not amaze me. They have a large pool, sauna and steam, just like what others have. LOCATION The Ritz-Carlton is located at the east side of Marina Bay, just right behind the Marina Bay floating platform. It is 20 mins car ride from the airport and short distance walk from City Hall and Promenade MRT Station. There are many shopping centres and tourist attraction around the area. Makansutra Glutton Bay is just 5mins walk away to satisfies your craving for local delicacy. If you are planning a staycation along Marina Bay, you should not miss this out.
