Pan Pacific Singapore
Part 2 - Pacific Club Lounge If you have book the Pacific Club room or suite at Pan Pacific Singapore, get ready to indulge with endlesss champagne, cocktails and great selection of food at their Pacific Club Lounge. And I am serious, We had rounds of drinks during their evening cocktail hours during our stay at their Skyline Suite . They were really that great. In this lounge review, I am going to share with you what are the things they offer and to look out for at their club lounge.
The club lounge is housed at the crown of the hotel, on the highest floor. Thanks to its circular floor plan, it offers the real panorama view around the city. If you want the Marina Bay view, you get the Marina Bay view. If you want the city view, you get the city view. Unlike the other hotel lounges that I have been to, Pan Pacific Singapore is bold to use a series of fascinating furniture that make the lounge so picture-worthy. To cater for business and leisure traveller needs, it operates 24 hours a day. However, things get real during these hours:
1. Champagne Breakfast
8.00AM to 11.00PM 2. Afternoon Tea 3.00PM-5.00PM 3.Sunset cocktails and canapes. 6.00PM-8.00PM Champagne Breakfast
This is what I call Breakfast for Champions. Freshly made Egg Benedict, a few selections of pastries, cold cuts and cheese, accompanied with premium Gryphon tea and bubbly Champagne. If you are into #eatclean #heathlyeating, you can create and Instagram a pretentious salad or yogurt meal from their fresh greens, fruits and Granula while hiding a glass of Champagne aside.
If a Egg Benedict dish is not fancy enough, the chef can also prepare truffle scrambled eggs or omelette, buttermilk pancake with mixed berry compote & double cream and cinnamon fresh toast with strawberries.
The club lounge offers the same types of Champagne during their breakfast and sunset cocktail & canapes. If you can skip the Champagne in the morning, I would suggest to go for the breakfast at Edge where they were wider selection. Besides Champagne, you can choose any of the 11 flavors of Gryphon tea or ask the kitchen to blend a juice of your choice. As I am writing this, I am wondering if I could ask for a smoothie or a milkshake since they can prepare almost any drink for the guest.
Afternoon Tea
The afternoon tea offers a mixture of western and local treats, as well as some cold dishes to fill up the stomach. While the menu changes every day, please try to catch their Panna Cotta and soft chocolate. These two are really the bomb! I had tried the Green Matca soft chocolate at the lounge and the Rum soft chocolate at Edge. They were really one of the best chocolate I ever had. These chocolates are in-house made which are superlicious and will instantly melt in your mouth.
Sunset cocktail and canapes
After the first night at the club lounge, I reminded myself to eat lesser. It is not that their food sucks. It is because I need to save the space for their cocktails and mocktails. Words can't describe how much love I have for them. You definitely to have their Pacific Sling, Cucumber cooler, Lychee Martini, Macadamia and Summer. If you happened to see this bartender by the name of MC Luther at the club lounge, you have to ask him to do a glass of Pacific Sling. He is the creator of this cocktail. It is definitely worth a try no matter how full you are.
If you have browsed through the photos above, the prices indicated on the drink menu is not applicable during their sunset cocktails and canapes. You will never get bored with the things served in the club lounge as the canapes, desserts and hot items changes everyday.
If you are looking for a staycation with club lounge access, I would recommend you to give Pan Pacific Singapore a try. Apart from the great food and drinks, the lounge is definitely one of the more interesting and contemporary as compared to other hotel lounges around the area.
